Dear Fyniss,
I have been dealing with a very inconsistent relationship which has taken a toll on my life. I’ve stopped hanging out with my friends because I feel as though I need to be with him all of the time. I’ve also stop doing certain things that I used to love doing because he doesn’t feel as though they’re cool. I feel as though I’ve lost myself in this relationship; it has became emotionally and mentally draining. I just don’t know what to do because I feel as though if i'm not with him. I’m losing a part of myself. Please help. Sincerely, Relationship Problems Dear Relationship Problems, Relationships are sometimes hard, but you should never feel as though your life revolves around one person. You can’t let one person change the way you feel about certain things. At one point in your life, you were living without this person and living your life. All relationships have their ups and downs, but no relationship should be mentally and emotionally draining. Relationships are about growing with a person and having fun. Maybe you should explain how you feel about your relationship and how it’s not what you would like it to be. If this doesn’t work, it may be time to move on or even take a break. By doing this, it gives you two a chance to spend time apart or hangout with your friends again. This will allow you to see if you to are better off just being friends. I can’t tell you that in the end, you won’t be hurt if it doesn't work out, but I can say that you will learn how to find your happiness again. And if it does work out, I wish you two the best. Sincerely, Fyniss Frazier Comments are closed.
