Flapjack Fundraiser

The FHS softball team is hosting a flapjack fundraiser this Saturday, Dec. 15 from 8 am to 10 am at the Applebee's on Nazareth Pike (Route 191). Tickets are $7 and are available at the door.

Free Flu Clinic

The Bethlehem Area School District (BASD), in cooperation with the Bethlehem Health Bureau and St. Luke's Hospital, will host a free flu clinic open to all district students, their families, and employees of the BASD on Monday, Dec. 17, 2012 from 4 PM to 6 PM. The free clinic will be held at Liberty High School in the main building on Linden Street. Parents must accompany all students to sign consent. Questions should be directed to Kathy Halkins at 610-691-7200 ext. 50940.

School day changes

Due to Hurricane Sandy and an entire week missed of school, another day of instruction has been added to the 2012-2013 school year. At the Board Meeting last evening, the Board of School Directors, converted Friday, January 18, 2013, to a regular school day. This day was originally scheduled as a teacher in-service day.

Poinsettias fundraising event to benefit the FHS baseball team

The Freedom High School Baseball Team is selling Poinsettias. A 6" single plant with 5 blooms is $10 and a 7" two plant with 10 blooms is $15. Orders due by November 27. For more info or to place an order, contact Pam Gagnon at pamjgagnon@gmail.com. All proceeds benefit the FHS Baseball Team. Thank you for your support!
